Scott Ellis, of RE/MAX At The Coast, works daily with first-time home buyers, as well as investors from throughout the U.S. He and his son Ty Bellamy, founded RE/MAX At The Coast in 2006, and through some of the most trying times in recent history have weathered the storm to produce one of the most productive and successful offices along the Grand Strand.

Scott, serves as Broker-In-Charge and is licensed in both North Carolina., and South Carolina. He began his real estate career in 1995. Originally from eastern North Carolina, Scott attended high school in Goldsboro, NC and graduated in Virginia Beach, Va. He also attended Tidewater Community College, in Virginia Beach, while managing the family restaurant.

Scott has served on numerous boards along the Grand Strand and been an active participate in many community fund raising activities. He served as Vice-President ,and President of The Grand Strand Board of REALTORS, and was instrumental in the merger of The Grand Strand Board of REALTORS with The Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS in 2008. He currently serves as Treasurer, and also is a State Director with The South Carolina REALTORS. He also currently is serving his second term on the M.L.S. committee for CCAR. He also is a graduate of Leadership S.C.R. 2008, and has his Certified Distressed Properties designation,and is an R.E.O. Specialist. Ellis is also a former member of the Ocean Drive Lions Club.

In his personal time he most enjoys being a grandfather, boating, and spending time traveling. He is married to Ruth Anne Ellis, a true native of the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach, they reside in Cherry Grove. Let Scott assist you with all of your real estate needs. Ty Bellamy is the co-owner and operations manager of RE/MAX At The Coast. He has been a licensed REALTOR since 2004. Originally from the North Myrtle Beach area, and a 4th generation North Myrtle Beach resident, Ty graduated high school just outside of Raleigh, NC. After graduation, Ty moved back home to the beach and attended HGTC and Coastal Carolina University while managing the family business, North Shore Surf Shops.

After selling the business in 2004, Ty joined his step-father and business partner, Scott Ellis in the real estate field. Scott and Ty joined the RE/MAX organization in 2005 and after just a year with the RE/MAX company, opened RE/MAX At The Coast in 2006.

Ty serves his community as a member of the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce and by serving on the North Myrtle Beach Planning Commission and the Board of Directors for the North Myrtle Beach Area Historical Museum as well as a past executive board member of the Grand Strand Board of Realtors. Ty lives in North Myrtle Beach with his wife Harmony and their son, Ethan.
